She unleashed the royal gams in a pair of dress shorts. We’re sure many people lost their shit over it. Obviously, the royals have worn shorts plenty of times in sporting or other casual situations (although it’s not a common sight), but formal shorts are an interesting choice. It’s a cute look that feels way more American than, for instance, Princess Cathy’s sporty-casual style. But at the risk of incurring the wrath of her squaddies, the fact none of the neutrals match (white jacket, off-white shorts, beige flats) is annoying. The shoes are cute, but we’d like them better without the black toe box.
