Emilia Clarke made some perfectly acceptable choices for her look at the premiere of her new film The Pod Generation at the Deauville American Film Festival. Yes, “perfectly acceptable” is damning it with faint praise, but our point, before we throw this dress to the wolves (i.e., you lot), is to remind everyone that this is all…
… fine. Okay, even. Exciting? Fashionable? Chic? Well, that’s where you come in. Personally, we’re a bit bored by it all. Happy as we are to have gowns and red carpets back in our lives, this is still pretty underwhelming. The fit is a little odd and it pulls in strange places. The hem is distractingly uneven. And while we know the ladies automatically love any dress design that deigns to provide them with pockets, these are heavy-looking and oddly placed. And while we’re being total bitches about it, we’ll add that we don’t think any of the accessories work; not the jewelry and definitely not those shoes. But like we said, this one’s going out to y’all for the final call. Let’s hear it.
