Princess Cathy visited the Windsor Family Hub as part of her ongoing commitment to early childhood development, and she kept the look exceedingly appropriate, l0w-key, and profesh. And by “low-key,” we mean your girl left her beloved stilettos at home for this one.
It’s a cute, work-a-day look with virtually no royal touches to it. The gingham is a pleasant surprise from a princess who doesn’t dabble in prints too much. The flats make sense and look good, but we wish they weren’t black. She was never a “pop of color” kind of gal, though. Love the earrings. Given Prince Harry’s history-making testimony today in his lawsuit against Mirror Group Newspapers, her team had to have figured that press interest and photographer presence would be higher than normal for this event. Keeping everything breezily unfussy and relatable was perhaps a no-brainer.
