On the irrationally happy scale, if there is such a system of measurement, few things would rank higher for us than the return of the celebrity sidewalk sashay; a particularly intense celebrity practice during the 2010s, but one that effectively got murdered by the lockdown. Few practitioners of the art made us happier than Taylor Swift, who once went on a series of sashays we called The Empty Purses Tour. The queen is back and the bag looks pretty light:
It’s a very cute, and extremely well-curated look. Not a thing about it comes off tryhard but it also doesn’t feel random or passively chosen. She knows how to do it.
