When Doja Cat commits to a look, she’ll take that commitment as far as it goes, whether that means gluing thousands of crystals to her body or paying tribute to Karl Lagerfeld’s beloved cat Choupette, the lady never takes her style choices halfway.

Jared Leto did his best to pull focus from her by showing up in his own Choupette homage wearing a full-on fursona suit (which was admittedly funny), but Doja Cat sported (somewhat creepy) facial prosthetics and makeup to complete her own feline transformation. She only responded to reporter’s questions by meowing. The lady commits. The dress isn’t overwhelming, nor would we call it one of the most amazing designs of the night. it’s just a very good red carpet gown with the cute addition of a cat-eared hood. She did all the work of selling it.
