Miss Lady Broadway took a moment from her Grande Dame of The Theater duties to stop by Kelly and Mark’s place for a little promo chat. We bet you think you know what we’re going to say about her white lace dress.
Surprise! We do NOT think this comes off bridal! For once! Not that it wouldn’t make a perfectly lovely bridal dress, it’s got a lightness and lack of grandiosity to it that makes it work as a day dress. She looks pretty in it. Does it work on a New York city sidewalk? Not really. Are those neutral pumps the best possible choice? Not at all. White would instantly take it to the altar and black would be too harsh. We think a brightly colored sandal, like in a yellow or a pink, might have been a cuter choice.
