The stars came out for the Gold House’s Gold Gala, celebrating Asian Pacific excellence across a range of industries, from entertainment to fashion to tech. Looks were served, but that’s no surprise, is it?
We want to commend it for being interesting, but we don’t think she can handle the color and the design looks like a sewing mistake.
Daniel Dae Kim
Absolutely gorgeous. Were the white kicks the right way to go here? Who are we to say?
Harry Shum Jr.
He does sleazy hot really well, and we mostly like this, but the color of the socks and shirt is kind of awful.
If there’s such a thing as a cute sheer gown, this would be it. The white boots are a fun touch, but that purse is silly.
Ke Huy Quan
That’s a gorgeous jacket, but we’ll always love this man’s commitment to wearing a pristine pair of bigass shoes.
Simple, classic, inarguable.
Sandra Oh in Prabal Gurung
LOVE this unusual color story. The shape really suits her, although we’re not fans of twisty elements right at the waist. The top is very elegantly draped. We’re not sure metallic was a good way to go for the shoes.
The dress is fun, but where she’s really been crushing it lately is on the makeup front. She also handles the wet hair look extremely well.
The top half of this look is fun, but the bottom half feels a little businesslike.
