It looks like former (?) power stylist Law Roach isn’t ending his collaboration with star client Zendaya any time soon. The style dream team offered up another in a long line of classically glamorous looks for the CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards.
We wouldn’t normally consider that much brown leather to be an example of classic glam, but the styling, not to mention the wearer’s innate chicness and ability to work a garment, tend to draw your eye away from the harder parts of the design. We were looking at these pictures for several minutes before we even noticed all the straps in the back, or that she was essentially wearing a leather corset. We’re not sure the textile marries all that well with the leather. The weights are so different that it’s visually noticeable where they join. The puff of wrinkled fabric right at the top of her butt is unfortunate. It’s a semi-great look, helped tremendously by the star wearing it, but we wouldn’t rate this among their best efforts as a team.
