PaleyFest’s not exactly the most formal event on a celebrity’s promotional calendar, which is why we feel a little funny about putting this one up to a vote. But we really can’t shake our initial reaction to this dress, which was negative on a surprisingly visceral level. We literally recoiled from the design and now we need validation your input on the matter.

Forgive us for coining a new dumb word, but it’s very … snakey. And not in a good, slinky sort of way. It’s more slithery than slinky. We suppose our dislike comes down to the color story, which is harsh and ugly, and the fact that we both agreed almost instantly that she looked like a snake with boobs, which is a somewhat off-putting image. Also, there are too many straps and that’s annoying to us. We don’t know… are we wrong here? It looks a lot better from the side, but maybe that’s because it downplays the yellow part. The look book shots with the model don’t really make the case for it either. It looks slightly better under friendlier lighting conditions, but we find the design and colors to be really unattractive. Agree/disagree? Put another way…
