Another round of applause, please. We were duly impressed when Jeremy Renner showed up at the Jimmy Kimmel studios looking his best mere months after a horrifying accident. We didn’t expect him to hit the red carpet immediately after, but sure enough, the man packed up his cane and his scooter, put on his best profesh look, and came correct to the premiere of his new reality series Rennervations.
We are impressed. And we think it’s a very good thing that this onscreen tough guy is making use of whatever aids he needs instead of pretending like he’s not still recovering. There’s a little soft bench on the red carpet too; something we’ve never seen before. We didn’t see any pictures of him utilizing it, but it kinda makes us wonder if red carpets are as accessible as they should be for all attendees.
P.S.: To be fair, the suit is boringly professional, but this is one of the few times we’re just happy to see an effort made when absolutely no one would have expected him to.
