Shall we look at some pretty people and mildly criticize them? Yes. Let’s. The stars of Apple TV’s new thriller Sharper (minus Julianne Moore this time) got a little wilder with their fits for the film’s New York screening.

Leader of a sex cult. It’s not so much that these pieces are bad – except for the pants, maybe – but they’re hellaciously dull and unflattering for a red carpet appearance.

That’s a really great jacket that she is clearly not comfortable wearing without a top. We don’t blame her, because it’s really not cut for that style. If anything, the shape and style of the jacket practically beg for a bra top. We’re also not in love with the shoe choice, which feels like a major missed opportunity. She really crushed it on the red carpet the other day, but this is a disappointing followup look.

Please don’t hate us or think we’re crazy, but this is actually really cute on him. The last two words of that sentence are key. It’s got that perfect combination of “street” and “rich prep school kid” that would appear to be exactly in his style sweet spot. Even so, we think those pants are way too shiny to be considered good. The coat is gorgeous. It’s all high fashion, but it’s doing a pretty good job of mimicking a high-low look. He’s perfect for this. Get him an ad campaign for Dior Homme, pronto.
