We would like to think that Michael B. Jordan can get away with wearing pretty much anything. We would also like to think that we would never make fun of a guy for pushing against the restrictive boundaries of traditional menswear. It would appear that this post is going to challenge some of our assumptions.
Yeah, sorry but no. That’s not gonna work, Michael B. We have a history of clapping and praising any guy who wants to wander over to the womenswear section and try a few things on, but this jacket is looking just a little too Golden Girls to our eyes. It’s not that we find the design insufficiently masculine, it’s that the design doesn’t work well on a muscular male body. We’re impressed that he’d choose a Chanel tweed jacket for this particular premiere, but we’re afraid this one has way too much of a granny feel to it.
