Darlings, it’s been a minute or two since we found ourselves with a surplus of unjudged red carpet attempts, so we’re thrilled to celebrate the return of our Friday Leftovers post. Not so thrilled that we’re suddenly going to get all soft and kindhearted on these folks’ asses. Put your judgin’ pants on and LFG!

Billy Crudup and Naomi Watts (in Sergio Hudson)

They look like they’re attending the office holiday party in 1990.

Charli XCX in Ludovic de Saint Sernin

Sure, okay. It’s not reinventing any wheels, but whatever. Put ’em out there if you wanna, we say. Our only issue is that the textile looks really flimsy and cheap.

Hugh Jackman in Zegna

He’s posing on a rooftop, so we can’t get pissy about the turtleneck. All things considered, he looks pretty good. Dull but good.

Jamie Lee Curtis in Givenchy

Executive realness is her style sweet spot. Can’t argue with any of this.

Jenny Slate in Rosie Assoulin
Pin

It’s a cute dress and we love the shoulder detail. We’re not sure about that shoe color, though.

Jodie Comer in 16Arlington

Really cute! We know we’ve been complaining a lot about the overuse of marabou feathers lately, but these are in the exact right proportion and placement. It’s giving ’60s Deneuve.

Juliette Binoche in Paco Rabanne

There are about five too many things happening with this look.

Kim Petras in Valentino

This is pretty cute. LOVE the eye makeup.

Letitia Wright in Prada

Perfectly chic in a minimalist way.

Lindsay Lohan in Christian SirianoPin

TOO MUCH SHINY!

Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Patrick Stewart, Jonathan FrakesPin

Old friends in comfy clothes.

Naomi Ackie in Proenza Schouler Pin

It’s a plain gown, but it looks pretty great on her. She could use some jewelry, though.

Rita Wilson in PradaPin

The sleeves, the applique and the hem length — all terrible.

Shania Twain in Saint LaurentPin

Another basic gown that’s made a little worse because the textile looks cheap and flimsy.

Vincent Cassel (in Prada) and Eva Green (in Alberta Ferretti)
Pin

He looks okay, but it almost doesn’t matter what you wear if you’re going to be standing next to Eva Green wearing a purple velvet suit.
