Angela Bassett kept things cute while she came out to support the people who make her look good at the Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards. Of course her film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever picked up the award for contemporary hair styling – Could there possibly be any other choice? – but Miss Angela was also there to receive the Guild’s Distinguished Artisan Award, She took the opportunity to call the hair and makeup artists in attendance the “unsung heroes of filmmaking.” We stan a queen who appreciates the work done to make her a queen.

We also stan a queen who knows when a night isn’t about her and dresses accordingly. She looks great – that top is really cute – but she doesn’t look like she’s trying to pull some sort of star turn.
