Various members of the extended Bridgerton universe (both new and well-established) lined up for a cast photo call for the next entry in the franchise, the spinoff series centering on the life of the young Queen Charlotte. Let’s get only a little judgy about it.
India Ria Amarteifio in Valentino
We can’t say we’re all that in love with the color and we think the idea of a crop top with a train is inherently silly, but damn if she isn’t making all of this work for her. It feels like a bit of a flex and we think it paid off for her because she really stands out.
Corey Mylchreest in Paul Smith
We don’t think either of these pieces suit him all that well, but we suspect the shirt would work better on him with a more fitted pair of pants.
Adjoa Andoh in Roland Mouret
The dress is really cute and couldn’t be better suited to her, but the boots really make the look. They add a ton of personality to what would have otherwise been a pleasant if forgettable outfit.
Ruth Gemmell
Well… okay, then. Didn’t feel like going overboard. We can respect it, we guess. Still, you’re there to pose for pictures. Might as well throw together something that’s at least a little photogenic.
Golda Rosheuvel in Junya Watanabe
LOVE that she chose something strange and challenging with an intellectual edge to it. We just wish it didn’t have that white turtleneck, which tends to overwhelm the design.
Arsema Thomas
The color looks great on her and we love the tights and boots, but there are way too many puffy little pouches all over that frock and the effect isn’t particularly flattering. She just looks lumpy.
