And thus does our tale come to its happy conclusion. We like to think so, anyway. All season long, or at least, since she had her baby in October, as she’s been promoting The Fabelmans and campaigning for an Oscar nomination, we’ve noted that Michelle Williams’ style seemed oddly directionless and ill-suited to her – not in issues of fit, and only occasionally in execution; more like she’d forgotten what works for her. We’re usually big proponents of allowing yourself to change your style, especially as your life circumstances and experience changes, but for the London photo call, the lady we once dubbed Princess Twee-As-Fuck did the exact opposite and it worked beautifully.
She went right back to what used to work best for her. Turns out? Still does! The dress design is incredibly basic, but that’s part of the point. This is practically a doll dress and it looks great on her. We hope she shows up at the Oscars in an explosion of tweeness. He looks cute, but he has a tendency to wear his clothes a bit too small, which is kind of unusual for a guy his size.
