The management is once again pleased to present you with a very pretty man who needs some help with his style. As we noted last week when he stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live, Babylon star Diego Calva seems to have an eye for fine suiting but doesn’t quite get how important the finishing details can be.

We are going to have to be the rigid and unyielding bitches who insist that a tuxedo requires a tie of some sort. If you want to do the tie-less thing, wear a suit or a sportscoat. Treading even further into rigid-bitch territory, we must also insist that white dress shirts almost always require an undershirt of some sort. The reinforced placket and collar wind up standing out more without the undershirt and it tends to make the shirt look flimsy. We do appreciate that everything is of high quality, though. It looks like the jacket might be a little small on him. We can’t tell because – doing the rigid-bitch thing again here – you should always button your tuxedo jacket when you’re posing for picture. Otherwise, you look like a groomsman on Hour Three of the wedding reception.
