Possibly because she’s got a Christmas rom com to promote, Miss Zoey’s been hitting all the holiday celebrity parties and showing off her latest party dress acquisitions in the process.

As a design, the only thing this dress has going for it is the chrome bumper detailing in the skirt, which does two things: provide visual interest and look stupid. Sorry, girl. You look appropriately hot for the setting and you’re styled really well, but that’s a very silly design. We suspect if it looks good at all, it’s only from this angle and standing in this position. To be fair, the runway version below is more interesting (and styled better).

We hate to be dogmatic about such things, but pumpkins really don’t belong on dresses. Nevermind that it makes her look autumnal as hell; that skirt looks like a Thanksgiving tablecloth. Off-season print aside, we also aren’t loving how flimsy this looks. It feels lightweight enough for summer, with a print that screams autumn and she’s wearing at a December party. We’re very confused. Or maybe she is.
