Emmys 2022: Sarah Paulson in Louis Vuitton: IN or OUT?

It’s been a while since we threw something challenging at you kittens. We want to see you work for this one, although it’s probably much more likely that instantaneous opinions will be formed from the very second you scroll down past these words and we suspect there will be no convincing in either direction. This is a look you either love or hate, we think.

Or maybe not, because we find our own reaction to be complicated. We’re surprised to hear ourselves admit that we really like the skirt. It’s that awful bib that has us wrinkling our noses. We think we might not mind the shape so much as we do the completely lack of any other elements or embellishments. It’s a table runner with a hole for her head. If it had been pleated to match the skirt we think we’d be a hundred percent behind this one. As it is, we’re stuck admiring her bold weirdness once again. You’ve got to hand it to her. She never shows up looking like anyone else there. So what’s it gonna be, hotshots? Is this fabulously weird or just weird? Put another way…
