Jennifer Coolidge hit that Emmys stage the way any fan of Jennifer Coolidge would want to see her: funny, clutching a trophy, making observations and statements only she could make, and wearing a tight, bold, shiny dress. She’s a master at giving the public what they want to see from her.
She’s got a highly defined and recognizable style. If the lady likes her dresses tight, we’re not here to tell her she shouldn’t. That green looks spectacular on her and despite her protestations to the contrary, we think the fit is pretty great. We don’t think the placement of the gold beading is all that visually flattering, if we’re being blunt about it, but the overall effect of the dress is so dazzling that it might not matter.
