Diego Luna is the latest actor to be spun off into his own Star Wars show for Disney Plus, as his well-remembered character from the increasingly well-regarded Rogue One. We’ve got screeners for Andor and we’ll be watching them over the weekend, but we have to admit that we’re as close to burnt out on the Star Wars universe after a string of mediocre offerings as we are on the Marvel television universe, which has also been increasingly underwhelming with each entry. Having said that, the trailer (below) for this one looks gorgeous and there’s no denying that there are some real heavy hitters in that cast. But if we’re being honest here, we’ll note that we’re not here to give our thoughts on the latest Star Wars show as we are giving the Diego Luna girlies some pictures to paste up in their lockers.
There. You’re welcome. He looks nice, but a little bit mobbed up. Sorry, but when you go all black in your suiting you either look like a priest or a wiseguy to our eyes.
It shouldn’t be notable that this looks so expensive, but The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi were both pretty low-rent in their production design.
