We had our eye on a few things coming out in late summer, in the hopes that their casts would deliver us some worthy and fabulous red carpet looks, but the last few weeks have been pretty dire on that front. It turns out, we should have expected the Super Lion movie people to be the ones who’d turn out looks.
Idris Elba and his two onscreen daughters Iyana Halley and Leah Jeffries came out in high style for the premiere of Beast. He must really love these girls or he must be really excited about this movie, because it’s rare to see Idris in such fine duds; even rarer to come off looking like he coordinated with his co-stars.

Love the hair, love the jewelry, love the shoes, The dress is great, but we’d have liked more gold accents to help set it off more.
Idris Elba in Gucci
This is a very nice suit in a very flattering color and for the most part, it fits him well (slight puddling aside). We’d have rec’d something other than a black loafer to go with it, but overall, it’s a decent late summer look.
Leah Jeffries in Claude Kameni
This is just insanely fabulous and she has every right to be beaming and posing. You can tell it makes her feel fantastic. The print is amazing, but the hair and jewelry are spectacular.
