Even if we haven’t loved every one of her style choices while on the Nope promo tour, one thing we truly appreciate about Keke Palmer is that she’ll never come out quietly. Like so many stars in this post-lockdown era, she’s keeping her style loud, head-turning, and space-taking in a way that’s just fun to watch.
The problem with all neon ensembles is that you’re going to need optimal lighting conditions in order for them to photograph well. These shots give you a sense of the style and shape of the outfit, but you really need to see it the way she intended it to be seen: on a talk show set.
There’s been a recent trend toward dressing like a literal ray of sunshine for the morning talk shows. We don’t know how long it’ll last, but it’s genuinely fun to see stars come out in looks so bold and bright. It’s hard to form any bad opinions about a person who’s just radiating light and color at you from the screen. We don’t like the plastic shoes at all, but everything else looks great and forces your eye to stay on her at all times.
