We gave Keke Palmer and Lupita Nyong’o the spotlight post treatment, but the entire red carpet at the premiere of Nope was full of eye-popping looks. The stars really outdid themselves this time.

We love the color and the overall softness of the look, right down to the faux pearls. We wish it had more of a shape to it and we think a slightly dressier form of shoe was called for.

On the one hand, we think he’s kind of nuts for wearing a white turtleneck and black double-breasted suit in late July. On the other hand, we’re impressed that he’s literally not letting us see him swear. Even so, it’s a heavy and kind of stuffy sort of look.

This is so ridiculous that we have to respect it. It’s a feat she even got it on correctly. We bet it took a few tries.

Girl, you can’t fool us. You just pinned some fabric to some lingerie and called it a dress.

She is so cute here – the frames, hair, jewelry, mani and makeup are all flawless – that she’s managing to make this completely insane dress look almost normal.

This is sexy-twee to an almost absurd level, but she’s well suited to it. We could do without the bust ruffle.

Great color and fit; love the shades and grooming. The shoes are meh.

This feels like a big step forward into grownup looks and grownup roles. We think she may have overshot the mark a little and can afford to go slightly more youthful than this, but she still looks fantastic.
