To promote his upcoming gay rom-com, Billy Eichner, surely one of our favorite white gays, hit the Jimmy Kimmel set in a classic homosexual style: Brunch Gay.
It’s clean, it’s cute, it shows off the arms while still being wholesome. Classic Brunch Gay style. It’s a look for drinking pre-noon cocktails and gossiping. He looks very cute, but we would not have allowed that sock/shoe situation to happen on television had we been consulted on the matter.
There will be plenty of capital-D Discourse on whether or not it’s fair to compare Bros to Fire Island, but we welcome that discussion. To our way of thinking, the films don’t need to be pitted against each other in a competition so much as celebrated and discussed in terms of their perspectives and potential competing points of view.
