We’re being bitches because… well, we’re bitches. He actually looks pretty great and he’s the first guy to make that suddenly trendy cut of jacket work. The fit is perfect, the shoes are spiffy and we like the touches of jewelry. As for her, we’ll start off by saying she’s not as bland a presence as she used to be on the red carpet. That doesn’t mean we’re on board with any of this, but we can appreciate that it’s not generic. We could even get behind this outfit in a sort of casual chic, hi-lo way if that top didn’t look like workout wear and those pants weren’t dragging all over the ground. On the other hand, this does tend to make a pleasing reversal after years of us covering celebrity men’s wives and girlfriends doing all the heavy lifting on the red carpet for their man’s latest project while said man couldn’t bother with collared shirts or anything with buttons.
