Darlings, decades may come and go, empires may rise and fall, the stars may flare and burn out, but one thing will remain ever constant in this universe. Sharon Stone will always, always know how to make a fucking entrance.
Do we love the dress design? Not really. It’s much better without the train but the print is a little wallpaper/tea set for us. The train is honestly kind of hideous with it. We also don’t love that those problematic queens Dolce & Gabbana are responsible for it, but that ship has sailed in terms of the fashion industry, celebrities and stylists. They remain popular largely because they’re very good at turning red carpet moments into pure spectacle, the above being a perfect case in point. The guys (Adam Senn and Sam Webb) are models, appearing in D&G’s latest ad along with Sharon. So yes, this is all a bit more naked an example of corporate branding, but like we said, the lady sure does know how to make an entrance. Can’t take that away from her.
