And now for something completely perfect. We figured you could use the aesthetic break right about now. Turn away from whatever doomscrolling you’re in the middle of doing and center yourself by focusing on something too pretty to criticize.
It’s not likely to win any design awards and it may not even rate high enough to land on any year-end lists, but it’s really pretty, perfectly striking, and flawlessly styled. We could quibble about whether the arrow jewelry truly coordinates all that well with such a classic dress design, but it’s the most interesting part of the look and besides, we think that juxtaposition is partially the point. When we say the red carpets are back in a big way, part of that is evidenced by how showy and slightly edgy red carpet jewelry has gotten in the last month or two.
