We suppose you could look at these pictures and come to one of two conclusions. The first conclusion is that, once again, you would be forced to admit that your ol’ pals Tom and Lorenzo were right all those times they said that tacky was going to make a major red carpet return post-pandemic.

The second conclusion is simply that Thandiwe called Chris up beforehand and said “Hey, I have an idea. Let’s go hard as fuck on this red carpet and really give the people something to talk about.” To which Chris no doubt replied, “Great, I’m in as Disco Hemingway, how about you?”

It’s not like we can say with straight (you’ll pardon the term) faces that this look is fabulous. It sure as hell isn’t chic. If there’s anything complimentary to be said about this whole deal is that it’s impressive as hell. The lady really committed to the look. But if we could get a bit technical in our critiques for a moment, the top half of this look is clearly not on speaking terms with the bottom half. They each belong with completely different outfits. Love the earrings.
