Kittens, we hope the title doesn’t scare you away if you were looking for something light and non-stressful this week. We promise, your manly hosts tried to keep things as light as possible, but sometimes, you’ve just gotta acknowledge the world around you, no matter how much you want to escape it. So yes, we have some things to get off our chests regarding the recent “Don’t Say Gay” bill in Florida and the attack on trans kids in Texas. We would feel awful if we didn’t say something about them and do our best to explain why they matter and why you shouldn’t be lulled into thinking any part of these bills sound reasonable.

BUT!

We also spend the first half of the podcast talking about the recently announced changes to the Oscars ceremony, so it’s not all doom and politics, we promise!

Okay, yes. We do talk a little bit about the Ukrainian invasion, but only to (once again) acknowledge that it’s happening and send our heartfelt wishes for safety and security to all those in the Ukraine or with loved ones in the area.

And we also manage to work in the reveal of the worst person we ever interviewed – but only because she made the news this week for sticking her foot in her mouth (once again). So it’s kind of a smorgasbord of topics; some deeply serious, some decidedly not so. And as always, we thank you for listening, darlings!
