Along with her much celebrated (by us, anyway) capacity to switch up her styles and go from Madonna to Twiggy like it’s no big thing, Inventing Anna star Julia Garner has a second, highly useful style skill. She can make nothing outfits look like high style.
To be fair, this looks WAY better when she’s seated, but then again, that’s probably why it was picked for this appearance. It’s just funky enough for the WWHL set and, like a lot of her best looks, has a vaguely ’80s feel to it without being cliched about it. We’re not a hundred percent in love with what looks like an oversized Hanes undershirt being worn as a sort-of dress, but the hair, ear clip, jacket and boots are all good enough that it doesn’t matter.
