We’re not entirely sure why Kate Hudson’s been making the press rounds and posing in high fashion on her Insta, but we also don’t much care. Maybe she has new line of athleisure wear or beauty products or pasta sauces to promote. We’re just here to look at the looks. And judge them a little, of course. Whatever it is she’s promoting, it’s got her feeling bright and bold, going by these ensembles.

Hmm. It looks great, but we suspect it’s a FIO – For Instagram Only – dress. That tricky ass hem would be hellaciously distracting on a red carpet or talk show set, not to mention “real” life. And those woven checked pieces around the waist are something like three bridges too far for us. Great colors; love the shoes, but this dress has a weird design.

We’re seeing so much tone-on-tone and matchy-match lately that it has to be considered a trend at this point. We’re not really feeling the blouse, but the skirt and sweater are gorgeous. Wish she’d worn that sweater instead of just wrapped it around herself. Still, it’s a pretty great look.
