Kate Hudson in Shushu Tong at the RUNNING POINT FYC Event

We’re not sure if there’s such a thing as the perfect dress for posing with basketballs, but we’re pretty sure if one actually does exist, Running Point star Kate Hudson doesn’t know a thing about it. She came by the series FYC Event to engage in a little branding and posing. Choices were made.

To be fair, it actually is a pretty good choice for posing with basketballs. The color looks great on her and the sleek, sporty feel of the bodice works for the setting and the activity. But you have to know, if you’ve read us for any longer than the last five minutes, that we’d have a problem with that awful Christmas wreath bow. It’s not just the size of it – or the fact of it – that bugs, it’s the placement. It just looks goofy as hell, sitting right on her lady area like that. We’re not the biggest fans of drop waists, although they can be very elegant and flattering when done right. This one sits so low it looks like the bodice is melting and the whole thing’s gonna slide off her. Very weird proportions.
