Rachel Brosnahan Promotes “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” in Magda Butrym

Rachel Brosnahan is still out here serving eye-popping looks from a safe social distance while promoting the upcoming fourth season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. We wanted to write that she had us until we got to the shoes, but we’re not really sure that’s true, the longer we look at the dress.

It’s bold! It’s bright! It’s seasonally appropriate! But we don’t think we love the accentuated shoulders and voluminous sleeves with a tight mini and a plunging neckline. The proportions feel a little off. Not particularly crazy about the matching shoes, although they’d be great with a different outfit, so long as you wore them like the look book model and not all laced up the leg, ballet style. That’s the part where the whole look just goes over the edge for us.
