Miss Tessa walked in the front (or rather, side) door on the way into the Jimmy Kimmel Live studio in an appealingly cool, slightly strange ensemble that really suited her. Her fondness for offbeat fashion has served her well, but like all risk-takers, there are going to be times when the risks don’t pay off. Case in point:

This is one hundred percent the kind of look where, if you showed it to us with the announcement that you planned to wear it, we would suddenly become deadly serious, look you in the eye, and say, “Sweetie, no” in as firm a voice as we can manage. This is VERY much a “Sweetie, no” dress; the kind of dress that has ensorcelled a potential wearer into thinking she can pull it off, plunging her into a sort of fashion fugue state out from which she needs to be gently but firmly yanked by the nearest clear-eyed loved one. Cold truths are needed here. This is the kind of dress that ruins friendships.

In other words, we don’t like it.
