Evidently, Tessa Thompson did not wear this super-cute look for the taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live! but we liked it enough that we figured it deserved a little more spotlight time than a quick dash inside the studio.

Oh. Sorry. We probably should have warned you that the scrolldown would be a little … challenging. We’re not even sure what that textile is, but there sure is a lot of it. We think the pants are weirdly shaped, but other than that, we have no issues with this. It’s cool and different. It catches the eye. And it works really well precisely because it’s monochromatic. There’s so much going on with shape and texture that turning down the color dial just makes good sense.
