This is spectacular. It’s got all the fabulousness of a ’70s disco suit, but the textile gives it a richness that feels way more high-fashion than “cocaine-fueled sex party wear.” LOVE the sparkly footwear, which perfectly balances out the chains. We don’t want to tell anyone how they should express their gender through fashion, but we actually do like to see him get away from wearing womenswear all the time. Not that we ever mind seeing a man or non-binary person in a dress, but there are times when it felt like he was doing it because he had to, which skirts up to the line of serving drag. Again: we’d be the last two people to claim there was anything wrong with that, but an ensemble like this one shows that his own preference for drama and sparkle doesn’t have to be toned down just because he’s not wearing a skirt.
