America’s favorite cultural chaos agent Kim Kardashian stepped out onto the sidewalks of New York to strut in advance of her guest hosting appearance on Saturday Night Live. This is how everyone dresses for rehearsals, right?

She’s really into the whole full-coverage, fashion condom look since her Met Gala appearance, isn’t she? We suspect there’s a branding statement or some form of personal message behind this recent turn toward sci-fi nunwear, but we can’t claim to be all that conversant in matters Kardashian. We’ll leave the decoding up to the fans. It’s entirely possible she just thinks this is how you dress in New York, although it doesn’t seem likely. Anyway, we hate the bottom half (a defining trait of her style is that she loves things that look physically difficult or uncomfortable to wear and we think it’s because she secretly feels the need to justify herself), but the top half is kind of goofily chic in its own way.
