Let it be known that Lorenzo, not particularly a fan of Lady Gaga’s acting career, muttered “I can’t believe she’s probably going to get nominated for this” as he clicked on the final trailer for House of Gucci. Let it also be known that he was clapping and laughing and “OHMIGOD”ing within ninety seconds and fully admitted we might be looking at a new camp classic.
After all, the cast is world-class, the fashion is fabulous, it sounds like a killer soundtrack is in the offing and everyone’s accents are far too ridiculous for us to take seriously. We don’t necessarily smell Oscars all around, but this does look like fun. We hope there’s at least one extended Christmas scene so we can classify this a holiday camp classic that people can watch for generations to come.
