With the return of the Cannes Film Festival comes the return of the international red carpet scene and what better person to kick things off than the absolute queen of such things? Here’s comes Dame Helen, hitting you like a ray of sunshine:
All is right with the world. Love the dress, love the hair. It’s a tough color to pull off but she’s making it look easy. Our only quibble is with the necklace. It’s fabulous, but we don’t think the scale is right for the style of dress or the shape right for the neckline. That piece needs a strapless gown. Still, we can’t blame her for wanting to wear it. We’d be dazzled too if someone dangled that in front of our eyes.
