Hunh. We’re reluctant to admit this, because she rarely makes a misstep, but Emily Blunt chose her fashion poorly for this appearance.

The way we see it, two of the least telegenically flattering elements are happening from the waist up; the super-puffy sleeves and the busy, shiny textile. That means throughout the entire sit-down, the worst parts of the look were front and center. And perhaps even worse, two of the best elements – the back and the overall silhouette when you can see the skirt – are completely obscured when you sit down. It’s a really cute, kind of interesting dress, but to our way of thinking it’s way more suited to a red carpet than a TV studio.
