Cannes 2021: Tilda Swinton in Haider Ackermann at the “The French Dispatch” Premiere

Pope Tilda takes a surprisingly glamorous turn on the Cannes red carpet and we’re left wondering if all y’all are gonna hate it or love it. As for us, can there be any doubt?

We LOVE every single bit and part of it; the shapes, the colors, the sequined sleeves, the way it combines red carpet glamour with Swinton-level weirdness. She’s always at her best when she’s wearing something that no one else would even attempt, but she really hits that style sweet spot when she’s able to play with color and form like this. The skirt and jacket are both beautifully fitted. We love the pop of pink with her shoe peeking out from the hem. There’s something really joyous about it while still managing to have that stately, pontifical sort of feel to it.
