We just love it, full stop. If you asked the two of us to collectively rank our favorite color combinations in decor and fashion, blue/green would probably be in the top 3 and teal/yellow would be in the top ten. They’re aesthetically pleasing combos that manage to be lively and soothing at the same time. And in fashion, this color story doesn’t necessarily require over-designed garments in order to make an impact. Picture the entire ensemble in gray or in black or even in navy blue. Instantly goes a little generic generic.
To be fair, we still question why turtlenecks exist and even more urgent, why anyone would wear one in late June. But we love the skirt and think the shoes are a great accessory choice. The whole thing works great with her hair, which always serves her best when it’s styled in a vaguely (but not literally) ’60s-esque way.
