Miss Yara’s got a new season of her show out and since there aren’t many places where she can strut about it while showing off her her next-level style skills, she’s doing the lockdown celebrity shuffle, aka, serving lewks in her backyard.

This is witchcraft. If you held either of these garments up, we’d wrinkle our noses at them. If you suggested wearing them together, we’d laugh in your face. And yet here she is, making them sing on her. Granted, we still don’t think the two prints coordinate that well, which is weird because they’re largely the same theme, scale and color story. But her hair and makeup look stunning, she can work a pair of hoops like no one’s business and we’re charmed by the whole thing. It’s Goofy Chic.

This seems to be the day for making half-done dresses over pants work. We don’t expect a lot of agreement on this, and we’ll admit that these items all feel kind of random, but we love the dress and we LOVE the boots. The shorts? Not our favorite part, but the whole look is so unusual that if you edit them out and just wore the dress, it would be a lot more boring and the boots would make even less sense. It’s one of those “sum greater than its parts” ensembles. It helps that she lives in this style zone. She can make this work when so many others couldn’t.
