Miss Tracee said “Fuck 2020, I’m going to try on some GOWNS.”

We’re not sure what inspired this sudden modeling sesh on her Instagram, but she mentioned something about fittings, which makes it sound like we’ll be seeing some of these out in the world at some point, when red carpets are a thing again. This is super-fun, of course. We think Vauthier can get pretty tacky at times, but he’s well-suited for these over-the-top drag looks. And so is Tracee, of course. It’s got the feel of a classic screen siren in the Harlow mold crossed with RuPaul’s dressing gown.

No wheels being reinvented here, but of course, that’s the point. It’s as classic as it gets. She has an impressively wide range when it comes to what styles suit her.

We remember when this collection came out and some were asking “Who would wear this?” To which we could only respond, sparkles dancing in our eyes, “Who WOULDN’T?” Sure, it’s heavy and impractical, but it’s fabulously dramatic. Be the disco angel on top of our tree, Miss Tracee.
