Miss Cardi’s new sneaker collection for Reebok drops this week and she opted to mark the occasion by dressing in a very non-sneaker-appropriate style.

And we are LIVING FOR IT. Honestly, as people who’ve been documenting Christian Siriano’s career since before he truly had one, we think he’s so much better as a designer when he’s pushing the envelope on shape and volume and form. His basic classic ballgowns are fine and they certainly seem to be his bread and butter, but whenever he opts to get a little cray, the results are usually worth looking at. We LOVE this on her and we think it’s a hilariously on-brand way for Cardi B to promote a sneaker line. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the product – unless you think the product is her. (Hint: It is. It ALWAYS is.)
