Netflix has released the first images of its adaptation of August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and honestly, you don’t need to read anything from us on the matter. Just look at these gorgeous shots:
Viola looks stunning in the part. We wonder if she’ll be doing her own singing. It will be heartbreaking seeing Chadwick again, but at least we got this final portrayal. Now. How many Oscars do you smell looking at these shots?
