Like so many stars finding themselves inexplicably on an industry awards show red carpet during these uncertain times, Sarah Hyland opted to not be remotely restrained or subtle in her style choices. We figure a lot of celebrity folks coming out of hibernation are feeling the need to give the public a little razzle-dazzle. And while this look certainly razzles, we’re not sure we’re feelin dazzled. Did that make sense? In our heads!
We’re turning this one over to y’all, knowing full well how much the kitten kommentariat loathes see-through skirts. We don’t mind that this is sparkly and tacky. This is what you get when you reach for the Georges Hobeika stuff. We don’t mind the pastels in October, weird though they may seem. We don’t even mind the giant hip bow. Like so many other things we used to get upset over, we can’t seem to work up the outrage. Serve us some tacky, girl! A nation turns its lonely eyes to you. We will, however, hold firm in our belief that if you’re see-through skirt is showing everyone your wrinkled panties, it wasn’t worth the effort. That’s us, though. And you?
