Miss Tracee took the opportunity of a visit to the Kimmel set (and a chance to get out of the house) to wear some capital-F Fashion of the sort only she can ever seem to pull off. Having said that, you better prepare yourselves. Given her predilection for the goofy, perhaps you won’t be surprised, but even so. She’s outdone herself this time.

If there’s one thing Tracee Ellis Ross seems to love more than anything else in fashion, it’s volume. She likes big silhouettes that don’t look like anybody else’s. She likes to take up space and give herself the freedom to be ridiculous. The results aren’t always what we’d call pretty or chic, but they’re never bland. Over time, it’s become something of a signature for her, which is smart because she really does have a knack for it. Do we love this ensemble? Not on its own, no. But we love it on her.

You can tell she enjoys wearing it and knows that the occasion calls for a little exuberance.
