The rest of it’s just not working for us. The silver bag, shoes and mask all feel like they should be paired with something a bit more formal and glamorous than this outfit – as does the aforementioned jewelry and makeup. And the skirt simply doesn’t go with the t-shirt at all. It clashes in color, it obscures the graphic on the shirt, and the textiles don’t really go together. There’s like three different approaches to one ensemble all at work here and none of them quite come together. Would have loved to have seen the accessories and makeup paired with something a little dressier and we’d also have loved to see the t-shirt showcased with items that actually go with it. You can style up informal items like t-shirts, but this isn’t the way to go, to our way of thinking.
